For some reason, I had an aversion towards using real flowers for the wedding. I decided to make bouquets of fabric flowers. Armed with a glue gun and some fabric, I sat down to figure out how to make flowers. A few friends (bribed with mimosas and quiche YUM!) helped make the ivory bouquets for the bridesmaids.
Later, I sat down with a yard of every shade of teal satin that I could find to make the bride’s bouquet. The bridesmaids were all shopping for their own “teal but not too bright, green, or blue” dresses so the variety of colors seemed like a good idea. The bouquets turned out perfectly; a little heavy and super durable.
