Whomp whomp…  I did not win any of the prizes from the Fabric Hop. But, I still consider myself a winner as I’m now on the Stitch Lab’s mailing list and get to hear about all sorts of amazing events and classes. Last weekend, they hosted a Sip and Sewcialize event to share info about their classes. Free beverages and free crafts? Sign us up! A few friends and I walked over after brunch.

We made button hair clips and learn a few embroidery tips. One of the coolest things was the deconstructed sewing machine that let you see all the springs, gears, shafts, and cams inside. Alright, there were a lot of cool things. Another was that the entire shop was decorated in clothing, bags, quilts, and other projects that people had made!
