I have a hard time knitting in the summer. While I love the warmth, the heat and humidity of Texas don’t lend to wearing many layers. Or, feeling very excited about cozy knits. However, I was with a group doing Friday Crafternoons and had a reason to pull out a project and get through it.

The yarn is Cascade Yarns Eco+ in navy (0515). It was a Christmas gift, which means I’ve been sewing this for a total of 9 months on-and-off! As this is my very first fitted knit garment, I wanted to start small and found a cute pattern on Ravelry called Retro Rogue. It was the perfect project for social knitting with simple ribbed pattern.

Here’s the final project. It fits!
