recently, a friend cleaned out her yarn stash and gifted me some beautiful wools. i really didn’t want them to go straight from her stash to mine so I started a quick cowl pattern. this was my first fair isle color work, and it turned out quite nicely.
however, i didn’t have quite enough yarn for the full pattern, and the inside stitches were visible wearing the cowl.
after a little research, i discovered micro fleece is commonly used for lining warm knits. and it certainly did turn out to be warm and beautiful!
i can’t wait for my next trip to cooler climates as texas weather has headed straight to spring.
You are a woman of many talents.
